SEE!!!
These ladies have been drinking coffee for the last 90 years and they are still smiling.
“Oh my, you need another of Mabel’s homemade donuts. Dontcha know.”
“Ja sure, you betcha, It’s no trouble really, I’ll get you another.”

This certainly is not for the faint of heart! I love the creativity but I would honestly go crazy not being able to find anything.
My own books which are carefully stored in my old crates are organized be author within the genre and size from tallest to shortest… which makes perfect sense to me!
Also I take special care not to have authors living on the shelf next to one another who would cause trouble. Hemingway is too much of a flirt to be allowed near the Bronte sister (who were starving for romance!) And Twain is a bit odd so he stays next to Washington Irving & Sir Walter Scott in hopes of gaining some stability.
Just to mention a few…
I think Calvin may be on to something.
What about a resolution to like yourself just the way you are? Then pursuing a lifestyle which can encourage your contented self to be the best possible version of your already liked self.
Something to ponder.
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 2,100 times in 2011. If it were a cable car, it would take about 35 trips to carry that many people.
THE HUNGER GAMES…
Suzanne Collins weaved a story of intrigue and love, power and seduction, fear and survival.
(Have no fear I won’t give anything away just yet.)
For 5 days, I obsessed over the story of Katniss Everdeen and her fight for survival and struggle to understand her heart.
Collins writes in a way that is intoxicating and dominates the imagination.

One of the many details that stood out was Collins’ use of Dandelions in the story.
(I have always had a thing for Dandelions.) This weed is symbolic of hope and life.
“Our eyes met for only a second, then he turned his head away. I dropped my gaze embarrassed, and that’s when I saw it. The first dandelion of the year… I can never shake the connection between the boy, the bread that gave me hope, and the dandelion that reminded me that I was not doomed.” (The Hunger Games, page 32)
Clever and beautiful.
I’ll post more of a review of the books and writings soon…
If you haven’t yet – check out the trailer – The Hunger Games MOVIE (Coming March 23)
Can I please have some Doris Day romance?

Plus everything always worked out for her with lots of singing, dancing, fighting, and kissing – all in under an hour and a half !!!
If only life were more like musicals.
The commercialization.
The expectation.
The traffic.
The preparation.
The stress.
The money.
The time.
The pretending to care.
The lights, noise, family, friends, and foes.
Why do we do it!?
Some say tradition. Some say family.
Neither are bad reasons and both can and should be good additional incentive and motivation for the why of Christmas.
THE TRUTH
Christmas is pointless if we do not recognize the point of Christmas is in sharing the joy and gift of Jesus Christ with those around us.
Jesus came to earth as a poor child so that we may have life and live it abundantly.
