To Run Away

Dorothy Gale ran away and wound up with fresh perspective about home and rad new shoes.

Jane Eyre ran away, found her fortune, an upgrade in class, and true love.

Huck Finn ran away for freedom, adventure, friendship, and to escape a whoopin’.

Peter Pan & Wendy ‘ran’ away to escape the responsibility and expectations of growing up.

Bilbo… well, rather ran into trouble and found adventure.

I would run away for nothing less.

Pinocchio & Jonah ran away and both wound up in the belly of a big Fish.

I must mention, of course, that these two ran away out of selfishness.
