A Poem: Summer Twilight

star-gazing

Twilight

Wraps its arms around me

The warmth of the summer day slowly says goodbye

The coolness of the evening begins to dance around me

The sweet melancholy of a memory catches me off guard

I’m captivated by a shooting star

The secret wishes of my heart

Whisper hope in the

Twilight
